For Romain GrosjeanThe end of 2025 was marked by a particularly significant event. Back in a Formula 1Five years after the accident that led him to retire from racing, the Frenchman was indeed driving a Haas of 2023 as part of a TPC organized by the American team.
Full of emotion, the day was greeted by a large part of the paddock, visibly happy and relieved to see the former driver, who had notably raced for Lotus, symbolically return to the driver's seat. A few months later, he shared a photo on social media, proudly holding the partially burned helmet he was wearing the day of his car caught fire during the Bahrain Grand Prix.
“Five years after November 29, 2020, I found my racing helmet again,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. I didn't know if I was ready to see it, but my children really wanted to understand how I was so well protected in the fire and what happened that night. […] Life goes on and we forget, but this reminds me how much we should make the most of our lives every day.
