Brad Pitt's biggest box-office success of his career, " F1 The film is indeed getting a sequel, as rumors have been suggesting for several months. This time, it's the film's producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, who has publicly stated that the teams are currently working on a second installment, without, of course, revealing the direction the script will take.

“We are working on a sequel,” he explained to the BBC. "Making the film was a long journey, as we had to deal with several strikes, but in the end, the film entertained audiences worldwide. I had never worked with Brad Pitt before, and it's really exciting to collaborate with him."

While it is not yet certain whether Pitt, 62, would reprise his role as Sonny Hayes or if the script would revolve around other characters, Bruckheimer indicated that the Hollywood star would obviously be very closely involved in the casting of this sequel.

Bruckheimer, who also produced CSI, Top Gun, and Pirates of the Caribbean, among others, also indicated that work was underway on a possible sequel to Days of Thunder, the iconic 1990s film in which Tom Cruise played Cole Trickle, a young pilot aspiring to compete at the highest level of aviation. I didn't see it in theaters, but I watched it very recently at home at my wife's request (probably because of Brad Pitt, 🤣). The plot didn't impress me at all; it was too Hollywood and unrealistic for anyone even remotely interested in F1 (overtaking on the outside of the Monza Parabolica is a guaranteed crash...). However, the post-production work is phenomenal, seamlessly integrating the two disguised Formula 2 cars into the pack of real F1 cars – truly impressive!
