Verstappen takes aim at British press after Brazil win

Here is a face of Max Verstappen that we had not seen for a very long time. Without the slightest victory since June 23 and the Spanish Grand Prix, the Dutchman had eaten his black bread in recent months, seeing Lando Norris come back, weekend after weekend, and the wind turns against him.
The Brazilian weekend should have been just another extension of his bad run. Sure to receive a 5-place penalty for an engine change, the reigning triple world champion then saw the sky darken above his head when he was caught out in Q2 with the 12th fastest time. Pushed back to 17th place, he hoped to limit the damage. But in the end, he played for the win and ended up winning, more than 4 months later!
The cherry on the cake is the pilot. Red Bull saw Lando Norris finish only 6th, trapped by the red flag in the race in addition to having been in difficulty in the second part while he started on pole. A gift from heaven for Max Verstappen, in a very good mood in front of the journalists.
Often the target of the British press, always very protective of its favourites, the championship leader did not hesitate to throw a dig at them, under the amused gaze of the journalists present at the conference but also of Pierre Gasly.
« I have a quick question, the main person concerned began. I appreciate you all being here. (in the press room) but I don't see the British press. [English journalists] Did they have to run to the airport? Don't they know where the press conference is? "In the room, some applause and laughter were heard as Pierre Gasly added another layer. " It's a good question " Between Max Verstappen and the British press, it is definitely not love at first sight.

Totally agree with Norris, the proof is that he wins with the Alpine,it's unusual, without saying that OCON and GASLY are not good drivers

Great strategic move by RBR and great race by Verstappen. But unfortunately it doesn't erase the detestable behavior of the last few weeks, which is now completely useless. Max could have won this title with class, but instead he seriously damaged his image and made the constructors lose 2nd place to RBR for nothing...
