And why not? When you are a Super Formula champion, you are clearly very well equipped to move up to F1, perhaps even more so than by winning the title in F2.

Re-publication of this article from last August! That said, I stand by my comment of August 11th, Red Bull has nothing to gain by pleasing Honda when Lindblad can learn without real pressure (in theory, but you always have to be wary of that good Doktor Helmoooooout) in the Racing Bulls nursery "powered by Ford".

In 2026, Rede Bull cuts the sponts with Honda, why replace Tsunhonda with Iwasa? With the PowerUnit Red Bull Powertrain Ford, the Red Bull galaxy no longer needs to employ a Japanese driver while Lindblad could quietly make his debut in F1 at Racing Bulls especially if the in-house PU is not very efficient. This good Doktor Helmooooout is certainly eager to see his protégé Lindblad in EL1 before propelling him to Racing Bulls
