Before knowing whether the new 2026 regulations will allow the Blues to get closer to this goal, Williams has already announced a name change for its team. In 2026, Atlassian Williams Racing will cease to exist, disappearing in favor of Atlassian Williams. F1 Team. A minor change, certainly, but one that comes with a redesign of the iconic logo. The current “W” will be replaced by the “Forward W,” derived from the initials of Frank Williams, the team's founder. Introduced in 1977, this logo appeared on each of the nine World Constructors' Championship-winning cars.

We hope our loyal fans will love it. But we also hope it will bring a new generation closer to our incredible legacy, strengthening the Williams fan community that will carry us to our next victory.”
The new identity will be revealed on the car from 2026, which will still be led by Alex Albon et Carlos SainzThe two men are helping to achieve Williams' best season since 2017, when the team finished 5th in the constructors' championship, a position it currently holds.

And just like that, the entire corporate identity needs to be changed (often the whim of a new Marketing Director shortly after taking office)... which will mainly bring money into Williams' coffers with all the merchandise that needs renewing!! "Business is business," let's not forget that the main shareholder is American

I don't really see the point... this name change! What would be great, though, is to go back to the white and blue livery from a few GPs ago; it was magnificent. 😎👀‼️👀🇱🇺👍
