Sauber's restructuring with a view to its transformation into Audi for the 2026 season continues. The Swiss team announced this Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the imminent departure of Alessandro Alunni Bravi. The Italian joined the team in 2017 as legal director and member of the board of directors.
He was appointed CEO in 2022 before becoming the public face of Sauber since 2023, when he was appointed the team's representative on race weekends.

The future Team Principal of the team based in Hinwil, in Switzerland, will be Jonathan Weathley, but the former Red Bull will have to wait until 2026 to take up his duties.
