So thatAlpine had filed a request for the right to review the penalties imposed on Pierre Gasly (third upon crossing the finish line, seventh in the final standings), the FIA confirmed the acceptance of this request, due to new information provided by the team.enstoneThe pit lane measurement carried out by FOM (Formula One Management) was inaccurate, and therefore overestimated the speed of the cars in the pit lane.
Alpine It was announced that the FIA had finally ruled in favor of the team with the arrowed A. As a result, the two five-second penalties imposed on Pierre Gasly have been rescinded, and the Frenchman will therefore regain third position for the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix. Isaac Hadjar (Red Bull), who climbed onto the podium last Sunday, therefore drops to fourth place and loses his first podium with the Austrian team.
The other drivers who received speeding penalties did not have their penalties overturned, since the team Alpine is the only team to have exercised its right to review the stewards' decisions. Pierre Gasly therefore now moves up to ninth place in the drivers' world championship, whileAlpine consolidates its fifth place in the manufacturers' ranking.

Finally, a bit of consistency… The others only had to file a complaint like AlpineAnd that's when the FIA was really in deep trouble!!
What a farce this F1 is! It's getting worse and worse. The results are constantly being manipulated, the standings changed, the podium celebrations are missing, and Russell loses 15 points he didn't need. It's a disgrace!
It is only fair that Pierre & Alpine, reclaims… that podium finish. I even announced it on Sunday… and during the week ‼️. But as a wise man once said… what a mess for the other penalized drivers, but ‼️, the teams didn't file a protest!!!!! Curious to see how this saga unfolds, 😎👍😉…. Congratulations 🍾 to the team Alpine F1, for this well-deserved podium finish. Alain Féguenne, F1 Competitions – 24 Hours of Le Mans – WEC
I think we need to remake this GP. The Comedy.
Can other drivers caught speeding now, through their respective teams, assert their right to review the stewards' decisions?
In this case, everything needs to be changed and RUSSEL given the 3rd place that was rightfully his.
