Esteban Ocon: “I want to write my own story”

A weekend that begins with an announcement and ends in points. It’s a beautiful Belgian story…

It could have been even more beautiful, but I am happy to score a point (two ultimately following the disqualification of George Russell. Editor's note) at the end of what were tough fights on the track. We had good pace throughout the race, enough straight line speed to overtake on the Kemmel straight and ultimately it was enough to be in the top 10. I think, however, that we could have finished a position higher if we had done things a little differently. Still, we made the right decision by focusing on preparing for the race and tuning the car accordingly.
