20h15 – 👋 Thanks everyone for following us! See you tomorrow at 15pm for the Sprint race! Have a good evening!
SQ3 – 0:00 : 🏁 Pole position of the Sprint for Oscar piastri ! Incredible turnaround! The Australian sets an incredible time with a lead of 29 thousandths over his teammate Lando Norris, who failed in his last attempt! Leclerc is 3rd, Verstappen 4nd!
SQ3 – 1:00 : … and he signs the 3rd provisional time in 1'09″622. Lawson and Bearman missed each other in the first sector and are classified behind the Frenchman.
SQ3 – 2:00: It is gasly who sets off first…
SQ3 – 3:30: The other drivers come out of the pits and take to the track for their only attempt at this SQ3…
SQ3 – 5:00 : ⏱️ And it was logically Norris who set the first reference time in 1'08″928! This is the best time of the day! Piastri is three tenths behind.
SQ3 – 7:00: For now, only the McLaren et Albon are on track…
SQ3 – 8:00 : 🟢 The SQ3, it starts now! Soft tyres, eight minutes of practice and (probably) only one attempt: who will take pole position for the Sprint race?
SQ2: Great performance for Gasly, 6th in this SQ2, Bearman and Lawson who move up to SQ3 while their teammates Hulkenberg et tsunoda have been eliminated! And in the meantime, Perez is still eliminated before the last session: the Mexican came out of the pits too late and was unable to make a second attempt…

SQ2 – 0:00 : 🏁 It's over for this SQ2 with the new best time for Norris ahead of Piastri and Leclerc! Gasly goes to SQ3, but it doesn't go through for Hamilton and Pérez! The eliminated are: Hamilton, Hülkenberg, Pérez, Colapinto and Bottas.
SQ2 – 1:30: Everyone except Norris, Verstappen, Sainz, Albon, Pérez and Colapinto are on track for a final attempt.
SQ2 – 3:00: Some drivers will dare to make only one attempt, namely Bearman, Hulkenberg and Lawson who still do not have a time. Colapinto and Bottas are the other two drivers threatened in the red zone.
SQ2 – 4:30: Verstappen sets his first time in 1'09″489, which is enough for 2nd place… but still four tenths behind Norris.
SQ2 – 6:00 : ⏱️ It was largely beaten by Norris in 1'09″063! The Brit is on fire! Sainz is 2nd, ahead of Piastri.
SQ2 – 7:00 : ⏱️ First reference time for Russell in 1'09″683, a tenth ahead of Gasly.
SQ2 – 9:00 : ⚠️ We just learned it, Charles Leclerc is summoned to the stewards after the Sprint qualifications for inappropriate language used in Mexico… If you missed this pseudo-“affair”, here is a short summary just below.
Charles Leclerc in the FIA's sights for inappropriate comments?
SQ2 – 10:00 : 🟢 Here we go for SQ2 in Brazil! Again, it is the medium tires that should be used!
SQ1: ☁️ The sky is now looking very threatening, and rain could arrive at the end of SQ3. The wind has also picked up, which has disrupted some drivers in the second sector.
SQ1: Incredible time from Lando Norris who really knocks out the competition in this SQ1! Also a really bad knock out for Yuki Tsunoda, eliminated in SQ1 and beaten by Liam Lawson!
SQ1 – 0:00 : 🏁 It's the end of SQ1, and Norris sets the best time in 1'09″477! That's seven tenths better than Piastri! The eliminated are: Alonso, Or with, Tsunoda, Stroll et Zhou.
SQ1 – 1:30: Verstappen improves and moves up to 2nd place, with a first sector record to boot.
SQ1 – 3:00: The drivers all come out for a second attempt. For now, Alonso, Bottas, Stroll, Zhou and Colapinto are in the red zone.
SQ1 – 4:30: The Ferrari remain on the track and set off for a second attempt: Leclerc climbs to 2nd place and Sainz to 4th place, two tenths from the reference set by Piastri.
