Franco Colapinto and a dream weekend: “I will never forget it” 

Behind the tifosi of Ferrari, the Argentinian fans were probably the ones who made the most noise. Just look at the crowd that waited for Franco Colapinto in front of his garage after the hostilities of the podium and the victory Charles Leclerc.

During the parade, I was with Norris, Albon and Leclerc, and they told me that there were a lot of Argentinian flags (laughs). “They are totally crazy” they told me. It was a beautiful mess. I am grateful because it is one of the factors that allowed me to get here. It is very beautiful to see that they pushed with me, that they accompanied me, so that this dream becomes a reality.

This is a very special moment in my career. This weekend was very important for me. I will never forget it. It has been so long since we had a driver representing us. It was very beautiful and I am very proud of it. »

Highest number of overtakings 

As for the race, the driver Williams could hardly do better. Starting 18th after missing his last run in Q1 when Q2 was possible, he managed to climb back up the field to take the checkered flag in 12th place. With 6 positions gained, no one did better than Franco Colapinto, Charles Leclerc coming second in this “ranking” with three places.
