Haas has been in a big media storm for two weeks where the athlete is sidelined. During the Miami Grand Prix, Kevin Magnussen received a 65-second penalty, in addition to having been summoned to the commissioners for “unsporting behavior”. Some team principals even went so far as to demand a suspension race for the Danish driver.
Add to that a legal battle between the American team and Günther Steiner, its former team principal. The Italian engineer first attacked his former employer for unpaid commissions. Haas counter-attack who decided to sue him for using the Haas Automation brand in his book “Surviving to Drive”, without their consent.

In such an environment, it is difficult to concentrate on the athlete. However, Nico Hulkenberg et Kevin Magnussen will have to get back into the swing of things because the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix is just around the corner (May 17-19). Both pilots were waiting for this return to Europe.
“Imola is a great track, I used to watch it as a kid and always wanted to race on it, so it’s fantastic to have it back on the calendar, rejoices the Dane. It was a good weekend last time we were there, I scored a point in Sprint in 2022. The track is quite difficult to overtake, not impossible, but difficult so it will be more about qualifying than medium track. This will be the first good opportunity we'll have to collect proper aerodynamic data on the car we're currently driving, so it's going to be very useful and a good experience. »
“It may only be round seven, but I feel like we are now deep into the season and coming back to Europe feels good, continues the man who will join Sauber in 2025. I have never raced on the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Classic Ferrari for sale and I'm excited to check this track off my list because it's a lot of fun in the simulator. »
Bearman returns to F1
This weekend, in Italy, a young driver will make his return to Formula 1. Indeed, Ollie Bearman will return to the premier category of motorsport. The Briton will be at the wheel of the VF-24 for the first time this season.
“I'm really looking forward to joining the team and taking part in FP1 at Imola, enthuses the 19-year-old pilot. The team is having a good season and I hope that with the additional experience I have gained since our last time together, I can help them continue their momentum! »
