By winning in Spain, Lewis Hamilton completed an all-British podium alongside George Russell and Lando Norris. This is a statistic unseen in F1 for 58 years.

The podium at the Barcelona Grand Prix revived a statistic that hadn't been observed since the beginning of the world championship. F1By winning in Spain, Lewis Hamilton was accompanied by two of his compatriots on the podium, George Russell (Mercedes Benz) and Lando Norris (McLaren).

The three men thus formed an all-British podium. While it's not uncommon to see these three drivers on the podium, they had never before shared it together at the same time. Indeed, the last time this statistic was observed was at the 1968 United States Grand Prix, 58 years ago. Jackie Stewart then took the victory ahead of Graham Hill and John Surtees. The first podium finish was at the 1958 Italian Grand Prix, where Stirling Moss was declared the winner ahead of Peter Collins and Ron Flockhart.

It should be noted that without Antonelli's late retirement on the 62nd of 66 laps due to a mechanical failure, Lando Norris would undoubtedly not have been able to complete what constitutes the 12th British 1-2-3 finish in history.

@Luca: And beyond these all-British podiums, how many podiums feature three drivers of the same nationality? Let's not forget that F1 was long a British motorsport, hence the number of all-British podiums
