- Two years, seven months and two days later, Lewis Hamilton found the path to success in Formula 1 ! The Briton won on his home soil and won a 9th victory this Sunday in the British Grand Prix, thus increasing his own record at Silverstone! The seven-time world champion ended a long drought without a victory: the previous one dates back to the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, 945 days ago! Mercedes signs his second consecutive success after George Russell's victory in Austria!
- Lewis Hamilton triumphed for the 104th time in F1 at the end of a totally unpredictable Grand Prix, notably due to the rain which appeared mid-race. THE McLaren, tuned for wet conditions, seemed headed for victory with a Lando Norris in the lead with the intermediate tires, but the latter remained one lap too long on the track as the track dried. A bad pit stop and the young wolf was fooled by the old lion, who operated his undercut on soft tires.

- Max Verstappen perhaps had his most difficult race of the season and yet the Dutchman finished this British Grand Prix in 2nd place thanks to a last crazy stint on hard tires! The pilot Red Bull, struggling in changing and wet conditions, had to fight to stay in contact with the leaders. When the track dried, the three-time world champion put the watts back on to overtake Lando Norris and get back on the heels of Lewis Hamilton in the final laps.
- The third Briton on the grid, George Russell, did not have the same happy outcome as his compatriots. The pole sitter, who led the race in the dry in the first laps, had to retire with around twenty laps to go due to a suspected problem with the water supply system.
- Behind the Top Teams, Nico Hulkenberg confirmed his incredible form at Silverstone by finishing in 6th place, equaling his result in Austria last week. Alexander albon finished in the Top 10 for the second time this season with a 9th place for the home race of Williams.
- An English round to forget for the French: Esteban Ocon experienced an ordeal with strategic choices missed by Alpine as the rain approached and finished in… rank. Pierre Gasly, who started at the back of the grid after changing his power unit, was not even able to start the Grand Prix: the Norman entered the pits at the end of the formation lap, Alpine suspecting a gearbox problem.
