In Imola, all the players in the Formula 1 paid tribute to Ayrton Senna, 30 years after his death during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. McLaren has decided to extend this commemoration by adopting a special livery in the colors of the Brazilian driver's emblematic helmet for the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend (May 24-26). The MCL38 will therefore be adorned with yellow, green and blue, a unique dress and very different from the usual black and orange!

What better place than Monaco to celebrate the memory of Ayrton Senna with McLaren? The Brazilian is still today the sole record holder for victories in the Principality with six victories (including five with McLaren) in 1987 and between 1989 and 1993. Ayrton Senna is also the most successful driver with McLaren, winning 35 of them. his 41 Grand Prix victories, three Drivers' championships and four Constructors' championships during his career with the British team.

The team will also wear equipment in the colors of Ayrton Senna's helmet for this Monaco weekend, Lando Norris et Oscar piastri will notably wear unique combinations.
