Behind the brilliance of the three best drivers of the 2025 season, a discreet George Russell has had a regular and reliable campaign, thus securing fourth place in the Drivers' standings.

The Briton concluded his first season as a benchmark driver at Classic Mercedes for sale, succeeding Lewis Hamilton – a role he embraced brilliantly. These are the necessary attributes to be champion for very long seasons. Then, the car has to be capable, so we'll find out in early 2026... And yes, given his young teammate's end to the season, internal competition could quickly emerge. At Ferrari, will Hamilton wake up if the car is performing well? That already seems unlikely. At McLaren, on the other hand, there's an Australian who will be hungry for revenge...

A well-deserved place for the ideal son-in-law, although I think Antonelli could make life much harder for him in 2026. That said, who knows what the performance of the new cars will be like!
