If it's not a charm operation, it looks like one. Flavio Briatore has more wrinkles, he is perhaps less flamboyant but he still wants to be as charming. Warm handshake, humor on the corner of his lips, the man has retained his natural relaxation. If he wanted to bring together this small group of journalists today, it is to induct Oliver Oakes, new team principal ofAlpine who is working on his first Grand Prix and to defend his choices. His return to the forefront F1 appeared to be brutal to say the least, so we must give the lie. Raise the flag of change.

Mission of the king of cheats perhaps easier to carry out without Viry who has too often served as a scapegoat for Enstone... which Enstone has not produced a high-performance chassis for several years! The blame is certainly shared between Viry and Enstone (ah, the famous cordial understanding between Frogs and Rosbeefs) and the situation has always been complex to manage, so easy to blame previous managers! And Il Magnifico Flavio cannot say anything other than the team is not for sale... even if he is there to make it more desirable and "bankable" especially if Renault's electric vehicles (Scenic, R5, R4 and Twingo) are not meeting the expected commercial success, Renault Group will have very drastic decisions to make in the next 2 years!
