Norris' retirement at Sin City and Piastri's victory ahead of Verstappen... and it's back to square one for Norris! Everything will be decided on the shores of the Persian Gulf, especially since McLaren won't be designating Norris as their number one driver!

Since the restart, a McLaren driver needed to make a big impact, and with these two consecutive victories, that's exactly what they've done, even if nothing will be certain until the final round in Abu Dhabi. The anticipated sibling rivalry was only glimpsed in the middle of summer but quickly fizzled out. Piastri has been making too many mistakes lately, and there's no time for internal strife. It would be wise for McLaren to now make things easier for Norris by ensuring that Piastri no longer pursues his own agenda, risking a skittle with his own teammate. This would certainly please Verstappen, who isn't giving up, even though his deficit is now considerable.
