It's October and there are only two seats left that have not been allocated for the 2025 season. Formula 1. One at Racing Bulls, where the clan Red Bull should logically choose a driver from its own circle, and one from Sauber-Audi. It is the latter that arouses the most covetousness: the weeks go by and the German-Swiss clan does not yet seem ready to make an announcement.
It must be said that there are still many candidates for this second seat in Hinvil, to accompany Nico Hulkenberg in 2025. At the time of writing, Sauber has to choose between four natural candidates. Valtteri Bottas, present in the team since 2022, seems to hold the rope thanks to his experience and his knowledge of the team.
However, the formation led by Mattia Binotto could well bet on youth: Gabriel Bortoloto, leader of the Formula 2, is also on Sauber's shortlist. The astonishing Franco Colapinto, who has impressed since his F1 debut at Williams, could also create a surprise. Let's not forget either Theo Pourchaire, a member of the Sauber academy, who is waiting for his time. And you, who would you choose for the second Sauber-Audi seat in 2025?

Personally I would choose Bottas for the experience and technical feedback that Audi will need....or Pourchaire who seems to me to have a good return for engineers....let's say that at least for two years, I would bet on the experience because Audi will need it

Need technical feedback to build this team and nothing beats a first year with experienced drivers.

Do like the other teams, play the internal channel, so Pourchaire comes from the Sauber Academy!
