Red Bull and Racing Bulls will unveil their 2026 liveries in Detroit

It is in the heart of Detroit's "Motor City," Michigan, that Ford will present its 2026 season on January 15th, between NASCAR and Dakar, as well asEndurance (along with the Mustang GT3) and also a new road car, which will carry the Ford Racing badge. While the season launch for the Blue Oval brand is fairly traditional, things will take a different turn after that.
Red Bull and Racing Bulls will indeed take to the stage to present the two liveries of the single-seaters that will compete in the world championship. Formula 1 2026. Single-seaters that will have a radically different look from those we know currently, with the arrival of new technical regulations, chassis as well as engine.
The fact that these cars were unveiled in Detroit is obviously no coincidence, as Ford is officially joining the Red Bull group, with Red Bull Powertrains being developed jointly with the American brand. This will mark the end of a 22-year absence for Ford from the pinnacle of motorsport. Indeed, one has to go back to the 2004 Brazilian Grand Prix to find Ford's last appearance in Formula 1, thanks to the Jordan Ford Cosworths driven by Nick Heidfeld and Giorgio Pantano.
"For the first time, Red Bull will present its two Formula 1 teams at the same event, and I can tell you that Ford is at the heart of this project," explains Mark Rushbrook, director of Ford Racing. “This Red Bull launch celebrates a journey that has required several years of preparation. It is the official unveiling of the Red Bull Ford Powertrains unit, which is at the heart of Ford’s return to the pinnacle of motorsport. With Formula 1’s incredible global growth, a new and diverse fan base, and the emphasis of the 2026 regulations on sustainable fuels and electric power, the technical challenge has never been greater, nor more aligned with our vision for the future of automotive performance.”
The date is marked, now all that's left is to wait!

Ford must have a significant influence on the Red Bull galaxy's F1 project for both teams to present their 2026 cars and liveries in Motor City, at the very home of the Blue Oval!
