Retro F1 2023 – The failure: Alpine

While the French manufacturer imagined joining the front runners in 2023, the A arrow has seriously weakened. A dropout which led to an avalanche of departures and yet another reshuffle. Will the Blues one day manage to climb the mid-altitude peaks?

In 2018, Renault finished in an encouraging 4th place in the Manufacturers' World Championship. The following season, the objective is logically to get closer to the three top teams while definitely getting out of the middle of the grid. Despite the reinforcement of Daniel Ricciardo, recruited at great expense, the mission fails and the Losange falls to 5th place in the world hierarchy.
