Rosberg and Vettel react to attacks

While the penultimate Grand Prix of the season will be contested this evening in Brazil, the paddock of the F1 is marked by the attacks which struck Paris and the Stade de France on Friday evening. If Romain Grosjean is the most affected by his nationality, his opponents are also emotional.

At the end of qualifying, pole sitter Nico Rosberg was marked by the attacks which left 129 dead and more than 250 injured. “What happened yesterday makes things relative, right? It’s a real tragedy and this day (qualifying) is really not important in the face of that. With the media, Twitter and others, we feel really close even if we are far away. It makes things more intense. This is all really very shocking. »

his compatriot Sebastian Vettel also had a thought for the victims. “It was a real shock. I was in the car on the way to the hotel when I heard what was happening. It was hard to fall asleep with that. As Nico said, our thoughts are with the victims and their families. There's not much we can do to help. It's tragic. »

Lewis Hamilton on the other hand, was more reserved. “I don’t really want to comment on that.”, explained the reigning world champion. The pilot Mercedes nevertheless reacted on social networks by indicating: “I pray for everyone affected in Paris. Please pray with me. »
