Seventh in the Sprint, Gasly allows Alpine to get closer to Williams in the Constructors

With his first two points scored in Sprint races this season, Alpine gets closer to Williams for 8th place in the Constructors' category. With 16 points, the French team is only one point behind their British rivals. Afterwards, it was difficult with the tires, there are things to improve for [Sunday]. We had a lot of degradation, it was a little different from what we expected.”

Esteban Ocon (Alpine), 13th from Sprint to Brazil: "We came back a little today, with a few overtakes in the race. But we still lack pace, cruelly, that's the biggest problem. We have to try to qualify a little higher but it will be difficult for this [Saturday] afternoon, we'll see what we can do."
