The Belgian Grand Prix is ​​almost "sold out"

The 10th F1 race of the season (July 17-19) is expected to draw 115.000 visitors per day. Currently, there are 4 to 5000 tickets still available to enjoy the spectacle of Formula One on the world's most beautiful circuit.

We're almost there… Three weeks after the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the 7km Ardennes circuit welcomes Kimi Antonelli and his 21 colleagues. The facilities are expected to be fully booked, according to Vanessa Maes, head of Spa Grand Prix, the local promoter of the event.

“In agreement with the authorities, we can accommodate 115,000 spectators. We are gradually increasing the maximum number in order to ensure greater comfort for the public. As a reminder, the capacity was set at 100.000 people in 2022.”

A natural circuit with a hilly route, the course also suffers from flaws related to its topography: “It’s pointless to compare us to Silverstone, a World War II airfield. It’s a flat, open site covering thousands of hectares. At Francorchamps, the tarmac runs from one hill to the other. Many of the surrounding areas are wooded. That’s actually part of the charm of our national circuit.”

Mercedes' strange weekend at Silverstone

Aware that access to the circuit is not easy, the police and local organizers are working to improve accessibility year after year. Approximately 500 police officers will be deployed daily, while public transport is making an effort to attract as many visitors as possible by train (offering a 40% discount on tickets) and bus.
