It is in its unpredictability that sport derives its beauty. Who can say with certainty today who will be the world champion of Formula 1 No one, except perhaps a lucky few with clairvoyant abilities, can predict the future. Rest assured, neither can the AUTOhebdo editorial team, but we've tried to calculate how the end of the season might hold an epic scenario that would lead us to Abu Dhabi with three drivers tied for the title and three manufacturers vying for second place in the team standings. A dive into a fictional, but thrilling, world!

Qatar Grand Prix: Piastri wins the Sprint, Verstappen king of Sunday
For the penultimate round of the season, Oscar Piastri repeated his 2023 feat, where he won his first Formula 1 Sprint race. The Melbourne native finished ahead of the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc Lewis Hamilton, who had a good qualifying session, contrasted sharply with Lando Norris. The Briton, last in Q3, only managed 7th place and lost the championship lead to his teammate, while Max Verstappen remained in contention by taking fourth place.
He responded to McLaren the following day by winning the Grand Prix brilliantly ahead of Charles Leclerc, who started alongside him on the front row. Lando Norris finished 3rd ahead of Piastri, and drew level with his two rivals before the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi (394 points for all three).
In the Constructors' Championship, Ferrari benefited from Charles Leclerc's second place and Lewis Hamilton's sixth to stay in touch with Red Bull and Mercedes. While the Austrians have Max Verstappen to thank, the Germans had a less successful weekend than in Las Vegas (Russell 5th, Antonelli 8th, only one point in the Sprint Championship for Russell, 9th). The three constructors are nevertheless tied on points before the final race in Abu Dhabi (443 points). A dream scenario, which would leave everything up for grabs in the Drivers' Championship for the title, and in the Constructors' Championship for a highly lucrative second place.

Of course, the "political-financial-pseudo-sporting bodies" will do everything to ensure that the championship is "decided" at the last Grand Prix; this has become obvious since Piastri suddenly and as if by chance became a shadow of his former self and the "Mad Max" benefited from an immunity totem!

We'll see if AutoHebdo's crystal ball was right, knowing that this must be the dream scenario of Liberty Media, the President of the FIA and the United Arab Emirates for the final round in Abu Dhabi!
