As usual, the Hungaroring will host the Hungarian Grand Prix. This has been the case since 1986 and its introduction to the calendar of the Formula 1, and this is not about to change since the leaders of the Hungarian channel have signed last year an extension until 2032.
A new contract which pushed the organization to review its facilities which were entitled to a “spectacular renovation”. During this first project, the paddock, among the narrowest of the season, was widened while two tunnels were dug under the start/finish straight, improving the flow of the crowd in the enclosure.
On the sporting side, the Hungarian Grand Prix will launch a final two-round sprint with Belgium (July 26-28) before the summer break in August. Moreover, it seems more indecisive than ever while the competition has progressed enormously, threatening Red Bull who has only won one Grand Prix during the triple-header.
The program for the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix does not change from that of a traditional program with three free practice sessions, qualifying and the race on Sunday.
