When he announced his departure from Red Bull Last April, after nineteen years of loyal service, Adrian Newey didn't really know what the future held. It was obviously never made official, but disagreements with team principal Christian Horner, who was in the media storm last winter, convinced Newey that it was time to turn the most victorious page of his life. But what to do next? Publicly, he spoke of a certain fatigue, a desire to take a little rest before a possible new adventure, the outlines of which he was unaware at the time.
"I think with Mandy, my wife, and the dogs, we'll probably go travelling, take a camper van or something.
