Replaced by Ayao Komatsu as team principal, Günther Steiner left Haas after a decade of loyal service. Insufficient results in 2023 and a divergence of vision on the future of the team precipitated its fall.

The announcement came like a hammer last Wednesday evening, and had the gift of waking up a paddock F1 as asleep as frozen by the severe cold wave currently shaking Europe. Embarrassed Haas has in fact decided to make its revolution, and began by sacrificing its Prime Minister Günther Steiner, although he had been in office for 10 years. A hard blow for the team as a whole, since it will now have to cope without its eternal ship captain. Bad news also for the media, which is losing a good client, and especially for Netflix, which is seeing one of the main characters of the hit series Drive to Survive take leave.

3 locations (Kannapolis, Banbury and Maranello), isn't that as problematic or even more problematic than Renault with Viry-Chatillon and Enstone? It's not easy to create team spirit and optimal synergy with dispersed sites...
