La F1 is back at full speed in 2024! Less than a week after the first round of the season in Bahrain, won by Max Verstappen, the paddock goes to Jeddah for the Saudi Arabian GP, second Grand Prix of the 2024 championship.

As in Bahrain, it was the Dutchman who took pole position in Jeddah, his first in Saudi Arabia. And as in Bahrain again, it is Charles Leclerc who will accompany him on the first row, winner of a three-way duel for second place in qualifying against Sergio Pérez (3rd) and Fernando Alonso (4e).

The third line will be occupied by the two McLaren, with Oscar piastri before Lando Norris, while the fourth line will be 100% Mercedes Benz with George Russell in front Lewis Hamilton. For his first qualifying session in Formula 1, Oliver Bearman delivered a great performance: the young 18-year-old Briton, who replaces Carlos Sainz this weekend, qualified in 11th place just 36 thousandths from moving into Q3! THE Alpine, still in difficulty at the start of the season, will start at the back of the pack on the ninth row, with Esteban Ocon 17th and Pierre Gasly 18e.

The start of the Saudi Arabian GP is scheduled for 18:00 p.m. (French time) and will be followed in live text on AUTOhebdo.
