Only time will tell whether Spielberg's mishap will be the starting point for a long-term rivalry in the years to come, or whether it will remain just an isolated unfortunate incident. Lando Norris had in any case left the Red Bull Ring angry and upset by his clash with Max Verstappen occurred at the end of the race in Austria, an event which had given victory to the opportunist George Russell.
