How to celebrate your home race with dignity? Williams gives a nice element of response by presenting this Tuesday a special livery for the British Grand Prix (July 5-7). The FW46 will feature the flag of the United Kingdom, the Union Jack, all along its engine hood. Very nice detail: the names of the 1005 employees of the stable are also written on the car ! A dress reminiscent of the one used in summer 2023, where Williams celebrated his 800th Grand Prix in Formula 1 in the same way.
A show for Silverstone!🤩🇬🇧

In addition to the special livery, Williams will also offer some on-track entertainment ahead of the British Grand Prix. Jenson Button, 2009 world champion and now representative of Williams Heritage (the “Classic” section of the British team) will also do some demonstration laps at Silverstone aboard the FW22 he drove during his first season in F1, 24 years ago.

Enough to sell derivative items during one of the most popular Grand Prix of the season! Question: does this new "one shot" decoration make it possible to lighten the Williams and therefore provide it with a slight increase in performance?
