Weekend of celebrations and special liveries at Silverstone. After McLaren with its chrome livery et Aston Martin with its new partnership with Valvoline, Williams will also have a new dress in England for its home event (July 7-9). The Grove team will celebrate the milestone of 800 Grands Prix with the Union Jack (flag of Great Britain) displayed on the engine cover of the FW45, as well as a white-sided rear wing.

Williams is therefore taking advantage of its home Grand Prix to celebrate the milestone of 800 Grands Prix... even if this will not be reached at Silverstone. Indeed, the cancellation of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix postponed this “anniversary” to the Hungarian Grand Prix, two weeks after the British round. But Williams having already planned this at the start of the season, the English team decided to maintain this special livery for Silverstone, “in order to allow British supporters to participate in the commemoration”.
