Spa-Francorchamps is preparing to celebrate a happy anniversary, from June 26 to 30. For the Centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Spa, no less than 67 cars will be lined up at the start, an impressive number of GT3s for one of the greatest races inEndurance and GT in the world. SRO Motorsports Group revealed this Tuesday the provisional entry list for the Walloon event. Among those entered, 33 cars will be entered as part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Nine manufacturers will be present for this anniversary edition: Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Audi, Porsche, Aston Martin and Ford. The first mentioned will be the most represented with 14 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs at the start, ahead of Porsche (12 cars).

The 67 GT3s will be divided into five different classes, depending on the FIA ​​categorization of the crews. Once again, the largest number of cars are entered in the Pro class, which has 24 GT3s driven by fully professional crews. Victory in the Bronze Cup (crew composed of a pro driver, two semi-pros and an amateur) will be played out between 22 crews, while there will also be 6 cars in the Gold Cup, 10 in the Silver Cup and 5 in Pro-Am.

Among the drivers, there are 16 former winners of the 24 Hours of Spa, including the trio Philipp Eng – Nick Yelloly – Marco Wittmann on the BMW of the ROWE Racing team. There will also be a significant number of Belgian drivers hoping to triumph on home soil, with more than 20 drivers on the provisional entry list.
