Mercedes Benz-AMG is not changing its lineup for the 2026 season DTMAs in 2025, the German manufacturer will field four cars with Lucas Auer (Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf), Maro Engel (Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL), Tom Kalender (Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf), and Frenchman Jules Gounon (Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER). Gounon will be competing in his second season in the German GT championship.

« The DTM is a championship that I really appreciate because it's comprehensive. explains Jules Gounon. It's all about performance and building a strong bond between the driver and the team, working together for that last tenth of a second. When you get a good result in DTM, it's a real feeling. The competition is incredibly close, and most of the best GT drivers in the world are on the grid. That's exactly what I love. My goal this year is to give it my all, with no regrets, and to take the season one race at a time. Last year was my first in DTM and the first time I worked with my engineer. Now, I know the series better, and we know each other much better. Our goal is to build on what we started last season. It wasn't always easy, but it's in those difficult moments that you learn the most. I hope this experience will help us throughout the 2026 season. »

During the 2025 season, Lucas Auer impressed with two wins and numerous consistent podium finishes, ultimately finishing second in the championship with the Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf. His teammate, Maro Engel, finished third overall with the Mercedes-AMG Team Winward Racing, just four points behind.

For Jules Gounon and Tom Kalender, 2025 marked their debut year in this prestigious series. The Frenchman secured a total of three podium finishes and ended the championship in ninth place. Mercedes-AMG once again won the manufacturers' title in 2025.

The new DTM season will begin from April 24th to 26th, 2026 on the Red Bull Ring in Austria. A total of 16 races are scheduled over eight race weekends in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands.
