Exclusive – Rahel Frey, GT Sporting Director at WRT: “I wanted to take on a new challenge”

The former driver hung up her helmet and gloves after the Iron Dames WEC program ended last season. On the cusp of a new decade (she turned 40 on February 23rd), the Swiss woman has decided to move to the other side of the pit wall, rejoining one of her former teams. In an exclusive interview with AUTOhebdo, she speaks for the first time about this decision and her new role.

Rahel, how would you describe your new role?

I've been the GT Sporting Director at WRT since this season. It's a new adventure. Specifically, I'm responsible for the sporting regulations in the GT World Challenge and in... WECI guide the team on the radio: as soon as they have a question, they contact me and I have to provide them with the answer.
