Winner of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in the GT category with Lamborghini this 2025 season, Jordan Pepper will bolster the BMW M Motorsport factory driver lineup. Clearly favoring South Africa, the German manufacturer welcomes the former Lamborghini driver to join Sheldon and Kelvin van der Linde. The three drivers will be behind the wheel of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO from the start of the 2026 season.

In addition to his victory at the 24 Hours of Spa, Jordan Pepper has established himself as one of the most effective GT drivers of the year. Seventh in the DTMHowever, he remained in contention for the title until the final round of the championship, finishing second in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup behind the WRT drivers – including Kelvin van der Linde – and the South African had similarly enjoyed a full 2024 season. An obvious match between Pepper and BMW

“Next season, we will once again be running a very ambitious competition program with our BMW M4 GT3 EVO, commented Andreas Roos, director of the BMW M Motorsport groupOur goal is always to compete at the highest level in the world's top GT series and to fight for victories and titles. To achieve this, we need a large and highly skilled driver lineup. Jordan Pepper perfectly fits our requirements. Over the years, he has established himself as one of the best GT3 drivers. His performances, particularly in the last two seasons, have been impressive. I am delighted to welcome him to the BMW M Motorsport family and look forward to many successes together in the future.

For his part, Jordan Pepper himself justified this choice as a long-standing and obvious one. “In South Africa, BMW is a very prestigious brand that I grew up with and have always admired,” the pilot argued. My career in professional motorsport in Europe has, however, led me to other manufacturers. Today, I have the opportunity to drive for BMW M Motorsport, and I am extremely excited. Over the years, I have seen their competitiveness, and I am eager to drive the BMW M4 GT3 EVO for the first time. I know that adapting to a new car is always a challenge, and I will need to get used to it over the winter, but I generally enjoy this type of car, having spent a large part of my career in similar models. I am looking forward to working with all the excellent drivers at BMW M Motorsport, including Sheldon and Kelvin van der Linde. We have known each other since childhood and are good friends. We have always dreamed of winning races together. Now we are with the same manufacturer, and I hope we can make that dream a reality one day.
