Kalle Rovanperä wins his first circuit race at Imola!

A week after his victory at the Polish Rally, Kalle Rovanperä scored his first success on the circuit on Sunday, at Imola, in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux.

We can't stop it anymore! Kalle Rovanperä may have taken a step back in WRC, this does not prevent him from winning in other disciplines! After the rally and drifting, the Finn won his first circuit victory on the Imola circuit. The double world rally champion, entered in Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, won Race 2 in Italy this Sunday. Starting in pole position, the young 23-year-old driver remained in the lead throughout the event and won… despite a five-second penalty for early departure!

A major performance for Kalle Rovanperä this weekend, he who had taken the two pole positions and who had already won second place on Saturday during Race 1. The RedAnt Racing driver is still discovering the world of the circuit, and won his first victory at the end of his fourth official race on the circuit! A feat when we know that just a week ago, the Finn also stood on the highest step of the podium... in the WRC, after winning the Rally Poland!
