Macéo Capietto, Junior PCCF 2026: "A relief for the rest of my career"

Macéo, you are the new Junior member of the PCCF. What does that represent?

This is a fantastic opportunity, a relief for the rest of my career. This role will help me a lot in the years to come. I'm ready to give it my all. I know the man to beat is often the Junior. I expect that and I want to climb the ranks within the pyramid. Porsche.

How did the two days of selection go?

They were very intense. I gave it my all right from the physical tests. I left nothing to chance and I was satisfied with my performance. The next day on the track, I felt like everything clicked. I listened carefully to what Patrick told me and I left feeling happy with what I was able to show.

You've just completed two seasons in European competition. Le Mans Series with an LMP2 car. You will discover a new world and a sprint format that you may have known in carHow do you perceive it?

The world of GT racing will be a real discovery for me, as I've never really done it before. ABS is coming to the French Cup next year. Knowing how to use it correctly will be one of the key points. I'm expecting some intense races. It's been a while since I've done a standing start, but I've always been pretty good at them. It's a return to my roots, which I'm really enjoying. The goal is to be in the title race right away.

Do you already know who you'll be driving for?

I'm already in discussions with several teams. We'll see what happens. The decision hasn't been made yet, but it will be soon.
