There are days when all the planets align, when success is complete and happiness is also a given. This Saturday, July 19, 2025, went down in ABM history. It all started in qualifying with Paul Cauhaupé securing his first overall pole position.

In the race, the Toulouse driver initially missed his start, opening the way to Mathys Jaubert (Martinet by Alméras). Overtaken by Marvin Klein and Marcus Amand (CLRT Schumacher), the Junior PCCF 2024 did not give up anything to get on the podium.

Ahead of him, Marvin Klein put incredible pressure on the Martinet by Alméras rider until he overtook him. In Dijon last year, the Var rider opened ABM's podium tally in the PCCF. Ten months later, the double champion unlocked his victory tally. By winning Race 1 at Misano, he delighted an entire team that continues to improve. I hadn't won the French Cup for a long time. (Red Bull Ring in September 2023), recalled the winner of the day. But today this victory is really for the team. They're all doing a great job. Being able to put it into practice in a race is truly satisfying."

Team manager Benjamin Saddier was also delighted: “ Since Marvin has been riding for us, he's been lifting everyone up. There's a lot of emotion after this success, a few tears were shed. Everything we've been doing for years is starting to pay off. I hope we'll be able to take the next step with Paul now." The latter will have a new chance to win by starting on pole in Race 2.

Total party in Pro-Am and Am

In addition to the magnificent overall result, ABM saw Mathys Cappuccio finish third among the rookies. The team's two Gentlemen also shone in their respective categories.

In Pro-Am, Marc Guillot claimed his fifth victory in seven races. A symbol of this extremely close-knit team, the title holder's first words were addressed directly to his team: " "The main thing to remember is the team's triumph. We're making enormous progress. Today, I had an extremely efficient car in the race."

In Am, Jean-Philippe Gambaro experienced a day " eventful. Having suffered a bout of discomfort before qualifying, the driver entered in the Am class started from the back of the grid. Having climbed back to the front of his category, he won his class for the first time this year: I got off to a very good start and finally validated my good top speed in the race. Too often, I focused on others and made mistakes.

After such a Saturday, ABM now aims to repeat the feat this Sunday during Race 2.
