Every driver agrees that riding at home is a unique sensation. Living in the town of Oreye, a few minutes from Liège and less than an hour from the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Benjamin Paque is preparing to experience a meeting of Porsche Carrera Cup France special.

Before starting it, the Belgian is relaxed: “ We must not revolutionize the world because we are running home! I prepare as usual because the work doesn't change. I'm doing my job, I'm focused on how to improve the car and my driving. » He nevertheless admits that the excitement will gradually increase as the big moments of the weekend arrive: “ when we are close to the races, with the presence of supporters, there will be an adrenaline boost. It's the game. Even more here than elsewhere, I want it to be a good meeting. »

Since the start of his career, the TFT Racing driver has been roaming the very special Spa-Francorchamps track. However, he does not see this as a clear advantage: “ certainly I have more driving here but it's a circuit that everyone knows well. However, if it rains it can help me. I've done a lot of laps in the wet and I like those conditions so that could work in our favor. »

Last May, during the first round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, Benjamin Paque won in Race 1. If he doesn't admit it, there is no doubt that he could see himself doing the same in PCCF: “ we always have one goal and we know it. » Will Brabançonne resonate in his honor? Response at the end of the two weekend races.
