Twenty-nine Lamera racers set off this Saturday afternoon to tackle the 3801 metres of the Dijon-Prenois toboggan. On this track where so many exceptional pages of French motorsport have been written, the more than 100 Lamera Cup drivers gathered this weekend will get their teeth into a first 3 hour contest.
On the front row, two of the championship's protagonists: the title holders on the number 1 (L'Auto Leclerc) with the 26 of Team Lamera as their neighbor on the grid. But they will be closely watched by the 80 (Continental Racing) and the 75, the latter preceding the 41 (Scania France) which also keeps all its chances for the title. In the Pro-Am category, the best qualifying time went to the 35 (Athena by Hedonic) which precedes, on the 4th row of the grid, the 56 (CTF Xeni Trans) and the 70 (CTF 2BE3).
In the Gentlemen's class, the 29 (CTF Make) will continue its duel with the 47 (Novarc by GL Autosport). This first round of 3h30 will be followed, on Sunday, by a 2nd race divided into two phases: the first will take place from 9:00 to 12:30 and, after the lunch break, the race will resume at 13:30 until 17:30. Which, in total, will offer a long event of 11h00 for the competitors of the Lamera Cup 2024 who came to Dijon-Prenois.
