On a completely dry track, but with tarmac still as fresh as on Saturday, the Lamera Cup drivers gave it their all during Sunday's long race. Seven hours of blistering racing saw an initial hierarchy begin to emerge. As proof, at the halfway point, the frontrunners from Saturday's race were back at the front, with the Milo Racing duo #71 and #82 leading the chase behind the #62 3TM in a hard-fought battle, down to the wire, but always fair.

Behind them were none other than the 2024 champions L'Auto Leclerc #73 and the 2025 champions Continental by Hedonic #1. In sixth position? The 2025 Pro/Am champions Venum by Hedonic #5! The rest of the race promised to be exciting, and it was.

The favorites are emerging

The #62 unfortunately had to retire with honor two hours from the finish, while leading a leading group of five within a handful of seconds. Then it was the turn of the #73 L'Auto Leclerc to complicate matters with a prolonged technical stop less than an hour before the checkered flag, while the #71 Milo Racing was ordered to return to the pits due to a loose rear bumper.

Before the final stint, everything was still up for grabs, but ultimately the consistency of the #82 Milo Sens crew of Kevin Caprasse, Lorenzo Donniacuo, Guillaume Mondron, and Simon Tourneur paid off. A champion duo joined them on the podium, with the #1 Continental by Hedonic of Grégory Fargier, Arnaud Maire, and François Coué taking second place, ahead of the #73 L'Auto Leclerc of Benoit Gruau, Emmanuel, and Clément Orgeval. A very strong overall performance from Team Hedonic Racing, led by Olivier Dufour, who placed all three of their Elite cars in the Top 5.

Already impressive the previous day, the drivers of the #29 Lamera Astonjet, Antonio Cristino, Charles Clair, and Paul Levet, dominated the Pro-Am category. Their 8th place overall, one lap ahead of the #72 Nautilia by GDM Racing, accurately reflects the level of performance in the category.

In the Gentlemen category, the #86 2B Racing Milo of Sophie Houtmeyers, Maximilien Bruno, Frédéric Locatelli, and Paul Van den Abeele took the victory. Their 15th place overall represents a very strong performance for a team that can be proud of having consistently outpaced top-tier Pro-Am crews.

Join us on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Motorland Aragon for the second round of a championship that's off to a flying start!
