Lamera Cup: Heading to MotorLand Aragón for act 2!

This weekend, the Lamera Cup sets up shop in Spain, at the spectacular MotorLand Aragón circuit. Made world-famous by the MotoGPThis circuit is an essential reference point in modern motorsport. Designed by the renowned architect Hermann Tilke, this 5,344 km track is a true test of skill.

Between its ideal straight for drafting and its technical corners like the famous "Mur d'Aragón" (turn 14, reminiscent of the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca), the circuit offers striking elevation changes and particularly demanding braking zones. For the Lamera Cup drivers, weather management will be an additional challenge, with overcast skies forecast and the possibility of some tricky showers to contend with during the race.

Milo Sens' Domination

The first round at Magny-Cours delivered a resounding verdict: the #82 Milo Sens crew is the benchmark team. By winning both Saturday's 4-hour race and Sunday's endurance race, the quartet of Kevin Caprasse, Lorenzo Donniacuo, Guillaume Mondron, and Simon Tourneur achieved a perfect weekend, racking up 500 points.

Consistently impressive and able to overcome all the challenges of a changing track, the Milo Racing team made a big impact, dominating not only in Elite but also winning in Gentlemen with the #86.

The response is being organized.

However, while the first round has strengthened the certainties, the competition hasn't given up yet. The hierarchy is far from settled, and the counterattack is already being organized in the paddock.

For the #62 3TM Compétition car, the pure speed is there. Without the setbacks encountered at Magny-Cours while leading the race, Joffrey Dorchy and the Mérafina family could have taken the top step of the podium. They arrive in Spain with a clear thirst for revenge.

The #1 Continental by Hedonic 2025 champions have shown they're still a force to be reckoned with. With a solid second place in Sunday's main race and three cars in the top five, Team Hedonic boasts a collective firepower capable of challenging Milo's dominance. And let's not forget the #73 L'Auto Leclerc 2024 champions, lurking in second place in the championship, ready to pounce on any opportunity.

In Pro-Am, the duel between #47 KCX by GL Autosport and #29 Astonjet promises to be explosive after each of these teams won a heat at the opening.

So will Aragón shake things up? Will Milo Racing manage to maintain its lead on a track so different from Magny-Cours? The first answers will come as early as Friday's Trackday on the land of the conquistadors before the first qualifying results on Saturday morning.
