Lamera Cup – Welcome to the 11 Hours of Valencia!

The circuit, made famous by the Homeric brawls at the end of the season in MotoGP, welcomes, for the 3rd time, the participants of the most dynamic promotional cup in France and Navarre.

After Germanic rigor, Iberian enthusiasm. At the beginning of May, the Lamera Cup season started at the Lausitzring, a track that emerged in the middle of nowhere in the euphoria of the fall of the Wall. It continues this weekend under the Spanish sun. The Ricardo Tormo circuit is well known to motorsport enthusiasts. Usually this is where the hotly contested MotoGP world championship ends. Particularly flat, it offers the tens of thousands of spectators who surround the route a breathtaking view of the fights that take place, every tenth of a second, between the acrobats on motorcycles. And it is often in Valencia that the title is played out.

In the Lamera Cup too, we expect to vibrate. The 14 turns of this 4005 meter long track, renowned for its technical demands, will have the pleasure of welcoming 27 crews from this Saturday morning. Among the competitors, Didier Dumaine, a driver who has regularly distinguished himself in GT4 in the recent past.

For some newcomers, the Hispanic stopover of the Lamera Cup began this Friday. They were entitled to numerous driving sessions so as not to start the competition with a multitude of unanswered questions. In the passenger seat and behind the wheel. For a long time, the most seasoned pilots explained to them the subtleties of this track, the pitfalls to avoid. A sharing coated in good humor. This is also the Lamera Cup.
