We never tire of saying it: the Lamera Cup unites all motorsport enthusiasts. Whether they're beginners or seasoned drivers (six points), impetuous youngsters or dashing fifty-somethings, everyone finds something to enjoy in this single-make formula.
Nathan Huet, for example, is a young Parisian wolf (23 years old) who is making his mark in Porsche Sprint Challenge and GT4 Cup in addition to events aboard a rear-wheel drive made in Stuttgart from another age. We will see him again in mid-June in a race as a curtain-raiser for the 24 Hours of Le Mans then, a little later, at Le Mans Classic at the wheel of a Porsche 3.0l RS. But this weekend, it's at Jarama that this business school student is practicing what, for the moment, is still just a hobby.

"I was called four days ago to be asked to play in this round of the Lamera Cup.", says our interlocutor. “Until now, I had never driven a Lamera and I knew nothing about the Jarama track. On Saturday, our tests were disrupted by engine problems. So much so that we started Race 1 30 minutes late. Since we hadn't had the opportunity to participate in qualifying for Race 2, we started from the back of the grid. This didn't stop us from making a nice comeback. To the point that at the halfway point, we were in a nice 13th place and first in the Gentlemen category. The Lamera is a real pleasure to drive. I'm very pleasantly surprised by its handling. As for the Jarama track, it's pure joy. An old-school circuit, very technical, where the slightest mistake is punished. That's precisely what makes it so charming. I can't wait to discover other tracks thanks to the Lamera Cup.”
In principle, Nathan Huet will be back in the CTF Gustomobile team for the 24 Hours of Portimao (September 5-7).
