Zolder – Qualifying: Milo Sens takes pole position

The Lamera Cup 2026 season is back in action with the qualifying session for the third round of the year.

After two action-packed events at Magny-Cours and MotorLand Aragón, the Lamera Cup continues its European tour this weekend at the legendary Zolder Circuit in Belgium.

Inaugurated in 1963, this 4,011-kilometer track is one of the most demanding circuits on the calendar. Alternating between long accelerations, hard braking zones, and fast corners, Zolder rewards precision and penalizes the slightest mistake. Its narrow shape and aggressive kerbs make it a playground particularly appreciated by drivers, but also a constant challenge for the teams.

After a day of riding dedicated to getting to grips with the machines and the track and a final free session this morning to make the last adjustments, the competitors met for the weekend's qualifying session.

Warm-up before the four-hour race

As per the Lamera Cup regulations, three drivers per team participated in this session. The starting grid is determined by adding together the best lap times achieved by each of them.

Under these conditions, the championship leaders, Milo Sens, were able to capitalize on the situation. The crew secured pole position for this third round of the season.

Behind, #62 3TM, #73 L'Auto Leclerc, #71 Milo Racing and #76 Mr Bricolage by RM complete the Top 5 at the end of a particularly hard-fought session where only a few tenths often separated the protagonists.

BK prominently displayed

The pleasant surprise of these qualifying sessions came from #79 BK by GDM Racing. Competing in the Pro/Am category, the crew distinguished themselves by finishing 6th^rd mark in the general classification to secure pole position, confirming his rise in strength since the start of the season.

Another notable performance was that the ever-present #29 Astonjet also shone in its category, rising to the front of a particularly homogeneous grid.

Gentlemen ready to take on the challenge

In the Gentlemen category, the #55 Flavus Racing Lamera will start from first place for the first time this season, in 16th position.^e overall position on a grid made up of 29 cars this weekend.

The first race of the weekend, lasting four hours, will start at 13:30 p.m. The race will be available to follow via Live Timing on the official Lamera Cup website.
