FFSA GT – Spa-Francorchamps: CMR wins in Race 2

The Belgian pair of CMR, Frédéric Bouvy - Ulysse de Pauw, won this Sunday during race 2 of the FFSA GT at Spa-Francorchamps.

FFSA GT – Spa-Francorchamps: CMR wins in Race 2

  • The Belgians triumph at Spa-Francorchamps! Race 2 of FFSAGT smiled from the Ginetta N°30 of the CMR team, Frédéric Bouvy and Ulysse de Pauw. Second under the checkered flag, they took advantage of the penalty applied to the No. 111 Audi of Rodolphe Wallgren and Gael Castelli for non-compliance with track limits, to regain first position. On pole, theAlpine de Schumacher CLRT N°55 (Gregory Guilvert and Laurent Hurgon) took third place.
  • « I'm really happy with the result especially after my mistake yesterday, satisfied Ulysses de Pauw. I was very angry with myself, I wanted to make up for it today. Fred started work very well, we made a superb team. The car was great. »
  • CMR signs a double since the team also wins in the Am Cup. L'Alpine of Stéphane Lemeret and Stéphane Auriacombe dominates the BMW No. 41 of VSF Sports – Amplitude automobiles and the Mercedes No. 16 of the NM Racing Team.
  • In Silver, the victory was decided in the very last moments. By six tenths, the Mercedes NM Racing Team N°15 of Lluc Ibanez and Alexandre Papadopoulos is ahead ofAston Martin No. 74 of Racing Spirit of Léman (Victor Weyrich and Mateo Villagomez). Mateo Herrero, Tom Verdier and theAlpine of Team Chazel Technologie Course took third position.
