This Saturday, the winning crew didn't take long to take the lead in this first race of the weekend at Spa. Stanislav Safronov, aboard his Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO, flanked by its #7, quickly managed to get the better of Éric Trémoulet. Still in the lead when it came time to hand over to Aleksandr Vaintrub, the duo remained at the top of the standings, even after a red flag was raised in the early stages of the race.
As usual, Gwenaël Delomier and his #56 Ginetta G4 GT10 EVO set the best pace in the second half of the race. Crossing the finish line first, the driver was nevertheless penalized 10 seconds at the finish after waving a black flag for an open door early in the race. As in the #7 crew's first victory, they were not the first to take the checkered flag, but will remain the first duo to collect two wins this season. They were followed on the podium by the Vic'Team team, winner of the second race in Dijon, and composed of pole-sitters Éric Trémoulet and Olivier Jouffret, as well as byAlpine No. 36 by Gaspard Simon and Pascal Huteau.
