We had left the presenters of theAlpine ELF Cup Series and Clio Cup Series last October at the Circuit Paul Ricard, for the closing meeting of the French Championship FFSAGT – GT4 France 2025. As usual, the circuit racing season will resume in earnest this weekend at Nogaro for the traditional Easter Cups, which will kick off the various championships involved. For the teams ofAlpine For Racing, the start of the 2026 season is synonymous with major new developments: firstly, theAlpine The ELF Cup Series is now fully integrated into the GT4 France grid, and the cars entered in the series will therefore share the same starting grid as the GT4s or other Ginettas, all in a Pro-Am format with two drivers and new Pirelli tires, since the Italian manufacturer is the partner of the SRO series.
Alpine Racing remains at the top in France and even beyond
In the Clio Cup Series, they're sticking with what works, or almost. With grids as richly populated as ever, the 2026 season promises to be intense but will take a different turn, running alongside another series, the Ultimate Cup Series, thus neglecting the competitions organized by Stéphane Ratel's team. At Nogaro, however, the main contenders will be back for the first of their seven appearances this season. The championship will then head to Paul Ricard, Magny-Cours, Mugello, Spa-Francorchamps, Navarra, and Portimão. During these one-make series, AUTOhebdo will take the opportunity to follow the competitors in these two competitions up close. As was the case at Circuit Paul Ricard in 2025, subscribe now to our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok) to stay up-to-date on the performances of the series' key players.Alpine ELF Cup Series and Clio Cup Series, which we will follow in close proximity!
