After a convincing 2025 season in the GT World Challenge Asia, Dorian Boccolacci was able to count on the confidence of Porsche for the year 2026. The Cannes-born driver is now preparing to compete in the upcoming season as an official Porsche driver (although not a factory driver) in the European championship. He announced this on Friday, January 9th, on his social media.
“After my GT World Challenge championship in Asia, this is my return to Europe,” he rejoiced at the official announcement. I'm going to compete in the GT World Challenge for the entire season. Driving a Porsche GT3, a car he knows well after having driven this model during the previous year, the French driver will team up with Belgian Alessio Picariello and the 20-year-old Dutchman, Morris Schuring.

The trio, competing with the Boutsen VDS team, will therefore participate in all ten rounds of the GT World Challenge season, aiming for a strong finish. In addition to the season prologue, scheduled for April 8-9 at Le Castellet, the competing crews will have to make stops at Brands Hatch, Monza, Misano, Magny-Cours, Barcelona, and Portimão during 2026. From June 24-28, the main event of this edition will, as always, be the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, on the legendary Belgian circuit.
