Team WRT flew over the rest of the field, on the Misano circuit. It's simple, the team's two BMWs in the Pro Cup both achieved pole position. In Q1, it's the #4 BMW M3 GT46 of Valentino Rossi and Maxime Martin who set the best time (1'31″437). Dries Vanthoor (Team WRT no. 32) was initially on pole but the Belgian's time was canceled for failure to respect track limits. He therefore inherits 6th position.

In Q2, it's No. 32's turn to show off. Charles Weerts took pole position by 0″028 ahead of the championship leaders, Maro Engel and Lucas Auer (Winward Racing Team). On the side of the No. 46, the one which had taken the first pole, Valentino Rossi set the 5th time of the session.

See you this Saturday at 14:00 p.m. for race 1 and at 21:00 p.m. for race 2.
